We are so happy that you’re going to be a student at UC Irvine. We’ve designed this website to help you, a new Freshman, learn more about what you should know before you attend a summer orientation program and register for your fall quarter classes.
You must read through each section and correctly answer the question at the end before you can proceed. Once you’ve completed this website, you’ll find instructions about summer orientation. Please don't rush through the site. We've learned that students who spend time reviewing this information have a smoother transition to college.
First Steps
If you fall into one or more of the following groups, please click on that link.
- If you have been accepted into the Campuswide Honors Program (CHP).
- If you are participating in the CAMP Summer Science Academy.
- If you are participating in Summer Bridge.
- If you are an International Student.
- If you are a Military Student.
- If you were admitted as a student athlete to UCI.
- If you require special accommodations for housing, placement testing, advising, or access during SPOP or after you matriculate to UCI.
